America IS BLESSED, with Mr Ted Turner’s dedication and commitment to our heritage, through his preservation of our history, through the films showing this weekend. Our parents and grandparents paid a price that we would be ignorant of, if not for these films. How much more valuable they have become to me, now that Dad went to Heaven January 2012. He and his two brothers, all served in World War II; Jim, *Frank and *Leonard Intrabartolo *Barlo from Hillside, New Jersey. So much of how they lived was the result of what they lived through. It is a great inspiration and profound privilege to be able to glean so much from these films. Thank you, Mr Turner and staff. You are so very much appreciated. -Mrs April Piccirillo
April,
Thanks for the feedback. It is appreciated. I agree that these films do serve as a reminder of sacrifices made by an earlier generation.
